4Cs Florence Kirby 15th Anniversary

4Cs Florence Kirby Child Development Center's 15th Anniversary Celebration and Ice Cream Social was a Huge Success!
The 4Cs Florence Kirby Child Development Center opened in 1995 as Westside Child Development Center. The center changed it's name in 2001 when long time Site Supervisor, Florence Kirby, passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer. The center provides safe, healthy and educational preschool in a developmentally and culturally appropriate environment. The program is bilingual English/Spanish and daily provides free or reduced cost early care and education to 32 children from low-income families. We provide enrolled children with a healthy breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. Over the past 15 years, over 550 children have attended the preschool, so that their parents can work or go to school knowing their children are in a safe, healthy and educational environment.
Children, parents and community members came out to celebrate 15 years of quality early care and education provided to the children and families of Santa Rosa! All enjoyed ice cream and a raffle. The children sang, Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, the ABC song and Buenos Dios! Click on the video below to see children singing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.
