Programs
4Cs Programs support child care professionals in many ways:
- Training and Workshops - Ongoing education for child care providers/early educatiors. 4Cs offers over 100 workshops a year - in English and Spanish - on a wide variety of child care subjects including; child development, business practices, licensing and special needs.
- Toy & Resource Library - Resources for preschool and child care programs. The library offers children's books, toys and training materials free for licensed providers, providers contracted with the Alternative Payment Programs and 4Cs members.
- Technical Assistance - Child care professionals can receive up to date information, community resources and support through email and by calling the Resource and Referral Department.
- Financial Reimbursements for Food Served to Children - Participants in the Child Care Food Program receive reimbursements for healthy snacks and meals served to children in their care.
- Financial Subsidies for Low-income Children - When parents enrolled in the Alternative Payment Program select a provider to do their child care, 4Cs will reiburse the provider for the care provided.
- Child Care Referrals for Parents - All licensed providers are maintained on a data base at 4Cs, when parents call looking for care, 4Cs refers parents to licensed providers in the community.
