Site Supervisor: Amber Sanfilippo

Amber is a dedicated teacher who joined 4Cs in 2015. With 10 years of experience working with children, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Amber holds an Associate Degree in Child Development from Santa Rosa Junior College, which has equipped her with a solid foundation in understanding child development. Additionally, she has a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, further demonstrating her commitment to professional growth and development in the field of education.

Amber is particularly passionate about teaching social-emotional skills to children, recognizing the importance of these skills in setting them up for lifelong success. As part of her dedication to this area, Amber also works as a coach through the California Teaching Pyramid Framework. This framework focuses on social-emotional learning and provides support to two preschool classrooms at 4Cs, where Amber collaborates with other teachers to promote positive social-emotional development among the children.

Her favorite children’s book is “Fox in Socks” by Dr. Seuss.
