4Cs Sonoma County (Community Child Care Council) is a vital resource & navigation hub for families, care providers and the community at large. Since 1972, we have worked to ensure every child in Sonoma County has the care and early education they need.

Resource & Referral
4Cs Sonoma County is a hub of connection, training and opportunity for families and providers. Our Resource & Referral department helps families find and pay for care, creates opportunities for advocacy, and links families with other community resources. Resource & Referral also engages providers in quality training, and assists with the licensing process.
Early Care & Education Services
Safe, caring and developmentally appropriate child care and preschool is available for families who need financial assistance. Our Early Care and Education Services (ECES) team manages all 4Cs subsidized child care programs funded by the State Department of Education, including the 4Cs Preschools and the 4Cs Parental Choice Alternative Payment Program (APP) or Voucher Program (VP).
Child Health & Nutrition
As the sponsor for the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) in Sonoma, Marin and Napa counties, we help improve the health and eating habits of children. We provide nutrition guidance through in-home visits, training, and reimburse licensed child care providers who serve meals and snacks to children in their care.
