Family engagement creates meaningful connections to support young children’s learning and development.  Using the CDE publication “Best Practices for Planning for Young Children: Family Partnerships and Culture” as a guide, participants will:

Become familiar with the key components of this resource
Discuss ways to apply effective strategies to your teaching
Reflect on your own cultural influences and how they impact your teaching approach
