In this interactive session, participants will:
• Review the structure and features of the California Preschool
Learning Foundations, Volume 2 and the California Preschool
Curriculum Framework, Volume 2, drama strand.
• Identify integration opportunities between volumes 1, 2, and 3 of
the California Preschool Learning Foundations with regard to
learning opportunities and teachable moments in the dramatic arts.
• Explore how drama can be used to increase vocabulary with dual
language learners.
• Describe strategies for children identified with special needs.
