Spraying pesticides to get rid of pests is harmful to children’s and staff health. What is the alternative? The Integrated Pest Management (IPM) system is a healthier way to reduce pests in your program. Do you know the difference between exempt and non exempt pesticides? This training will explain the difference and share alternative practices than using toxic pesticides. you will receive a certificate for this class.

Are you tired of using toxic chemicals for cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing your child care program? There is an alternative “Integrated Germ Management”  (IGM) to have your child care program healthy, clean and with limited germs. This training explains that disinfectants and sanitizers are antimicrobial pesticides which means they kill germs. The training is a Best practices training for child care providers and required annually for centers. The Healthy Schools Act requires this training to be repeated annually. You will receive a certificate and a FREE IPM Kit .
