Vocabulary in Preschool, TK, and Kindergarten Years

The California Preschool Instructional Network (CPIN) will discuss the importance of building early childhood vocabulary skills in preschoolers and students in Transitional Kindergarten and kindergarten. You will examine the continuum of skills from the Preschool Learning Foundations through the California content Standards. Connections will be made to English Language Development and suipporting children with disabilities. Strategies for building a robust vocabulary program will be shared. All participants will receive a children’s book and make and take materials to go with the story. Light snacks included. Registration Fee $10.00
